Neuroscience: read in J.Neuroscience an article by Hybrigenics' customer about Oligodendroglial maturation

Düsseldorf, Germany - January 21

Our client, Dr Patrick Küry and his lab at the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany have just released a new article called: Oligodendroglial maturation is dependent on intracellular protein shuttling.

They entrusted us for the screening of the rat p57Kip2 protein, a potent inhibitor of oligodendroglial differentiation, with our rat hippocampus cDNA library.

The Y2H screen allowed to discover a new binding partner called Mash1, a transcription factor involved in oligodendrogenesis. Further experiments shown that p57Kip2/Mash1 interaction blocks Mash1 transcriptional activity suggesting that the regulation of its oligodendrocyte differentiation target genes is controlled by p57kip2.

This was published on January 21rst, 2015 in J.Neuroscience.
